Energy Isn't The Only Thing Homeowners Will Save With Help From The New Stimulus Bill Tax Credits

Energy-efficient home improvements are one way homeowners can save money each month when budgets are tight. Now the new stimulus bill makes those energy-efficient home improvements even more attractive than ever before.
President Obama signed "The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009" on February 17, 2009. Homeowners will now receive much bigger benefits from improving their home, including window and door replacement.
Through this bill, the former 10% tax credit for home improvements has been raised to 30% and the maximum credit has been raised from $500 to $1,500. All improvements must be made in 2009 and 2010. (For more details on your eligibility please consult the IRS or your tax accountant).
