Energy Master III Glass System Replacement Windows
Energy Master III, a triple pane glass system used in energy-efficient replacement windows, combines the benefits of two low-emissive (Low-E) coatings (28 layers of low-e) and argon gas fill in the two air spaces. If you choose this for your replacement windows, it will lower your home's energy costs, help protect furnishings and draperies from damaging UV rays, and make your home more comfortable. The energy-efficient system for replacement windows makes the glass in your windows as much as seven times more energy efficient than standard single glazed glass.
The system consists of triple insulated glass, AC Master low-emissive (Low-E) coating on two surfaces, the PPG Intercept System and argon gas between the panes. AC Master low-e system is a special low-emissive (Low-E) coating applied to two surfaces of the window or door that lowers home heating and cooling costs and helps you feel more comfortable in your home. In cold weather, the coating reflects heat back inside so your home stays warmer. This reduces the time your heating system needs to run, saving you money. In warm weather, your cooling system runs less because the two coatings of AC Master Low-E reflect outside heat away from your windows while still allowing light in. The AC Master Low-E coatings also combine to filter 99.5% of damaging ultraviolet (UV) light.
Argon is a safe, stable inert gas that is inserted between the glass panes of your replacement windows to improve its insulating properties and help reduce your energy costs. Argon makes your replacement windows more efficient because it's better than air at reducing heat transfer between the inside and outside.
PPG Warm Edge Technology Spacer System is a highly advanced tin-plated steal spacer system that separates the glass panes in your new windows and doors. This replacement window plays an integral role in making you more comfortable in your home and lowering your energy costs. Its unique one-piece U-channel design creates a strong thermal barrier that reduces heat loss. Intercept incorporates what's known as warm-edge technology to help maintain a uniform temperature throughout the glass and reduce the likelihood of condensation.
Regency Windows with the Energy Master glass system are Energy Star Compliant.
